About Whyte CPA

Devin Whyte, CPA

Devin was born and raised in Southeastern Idaho where he attended Idaho State University.

At that time, Idaho State University ranked top 10% in the nation for students passing the CPA Exams on the first try, which he did.

After Graduating in 2009 he started his career in Public Accounting working for a regional firm in Idaho. That firm was Collins, Green & Company PLLC. A four-partner firm where he worked on business accounts doing bookkeeping, payroll, compiled and reviewed basis financial statements, and the year end business and individual tax returns for the owners. He completed four tax seasons there and then moved to Boise, ID working one more tax season.

After that he became a manager in the tax department at Safeway in Phoenix Arizona, for almost 7 years. While a manager at Safeway he started this firm in 2019. He has since left the corporate world and solely focuses on running Devin Whyte, CPA PC.
